Sexual Health & Intimate Wellness
Pelvic Floor & Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)
For most men and women, hormonal or intimate health concerns often go undiscussed for years, dismissed as a normal part of aging, stress, or life after children. At LexEnhance, we treat them as real medical concerns with real, evidence-based treatment options. We find and treat the causes of symptoms—not just the symptoms themselves—so patients can feel like themselves again. At LexEnhance, these services are often most effective when integrated with other care. We often pair treatment with facial rejuvenation, body contouring, and more for patients navigating hormone treatments with weight loss, low testosterone, hair loss, or other key concerns that often benefit from a broader plan.
Who is a Good Candidate?
Intimate health and hormone services at LexEnhance support a wide range of patients, including:

- Postpartum patients supporting pelvic floor, intimate, and hormonal recovery
- Patients experiencing changes in libido, sexual function, or sexual satisfaction
- Busy adults who have delayed addressing these concerns and are ready for a clinical evaluation

Device-Based Pelvic Floor Therapy

Pelvic Floor Therapy with EMSELLA
Pelvic floor weakness is one of the most common—and most undertreated—concerns many patients face across life stages. Over time, this can cause urinary incontinence, reduced sexual satisfaction, and loss of core function.
EMSELLA uses High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic (HIFEM) technology to deliver non-invasive pelvic floor rehabilitation. Patients remain fully clothed and seated during treatment. Each session lasts approximately 28 to 30 minutes and delivers roughly 11,000 supramaximal pelvic floor contractions—the equivalent of thousands of Kegel exercises in a single session.
Clinical studies report that 95% of treated patients saw significant improvement in quality of life. EMSELLA treats both male and female urinary stress, urge, and mixed incontinence, and supports pelvic floor strength that contributes directly to sexual function and core stability.

Intimate RF with EMFEMME 360
Women at many different stages of their life can benefit from EMFEMME 360, a controlled radiofrequency (RF) designed to stimulate blood flow and collagen production through the power of thermal heating. This results in more firm and elastic tissue and increased sensation with treatment.
Often described as a “nonsurgical labiaplasty” alternative, EMFEMME is potentially useful post-childbirth for swollen or torn tissue. If intimacy has been uncomfortable, treatment can be customized for intravaginal and labial concerns. Many patients will experience improvements to their pelvic core strength.
Note: Copper IUD is a specific contraindication* for EMSELLA and EMFEMME. Please discuss this with our clinical team during your consultation.
HRT for Women: Addressing Estrogen Replacement & Hormones
Hormone health can shift dramatically during a woman’s lifespan. Estrogen and progesterone levels fluctuate during perimenopause, often causing symptoms years before menopause actually stops. Postmenopausal women experience sustained low estrogen, which contributes to ongoing discomfort and health concerns.
Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) for women typically involves estrogen supplementation, sometimes combined with progesterone, depending on individual circumstances. The clinical staff evaluates your symptoms, reviews your medical history, and orders appropriate lab work before recommending any treatment. Many women report significant improvement in symptoms such as:
- Hot flashes and night sweats
- Sleep disruption
- Mood changes
- Brain fog and mental clarity issues
- Low libido
The timeline varies from person to person, as regular follow-up appointments allow for adjustments based on how you respond.
TRT for Men: Addressing Low Testosterone
Low testosterone affects men across a wide age range. Symptoms often develop gradually, making them easy to attribute to stress, aging, or lifestyle factors. Signs of low testosterone include:
- Persistent fatigue despite adequate sleep
- Reduced muscle mass
- Increased body fat
- Diminished motivation
- Changes in sexual function
Treatment begins with comprehensive bloodwork to confirm low testosterone and rule out other causes of your symptoms. The clinical staff reviews your results, discusses treatment options, and creates a plan that fits your lifestyle and preferences. Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) for men involves supplementing testosterone through injections or other delivery methods.
Men receiving testosterone therapies often notice increased energy and improved mood within the first few weeks. Physical changes like improved body composition typically emerge with consistent treatment. Ongoing monitoring through lab work and regular check-ins helps maintain optimal levels and adjust dosing as your body responds.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is hormone replacement therapy safe?
When prescribed and monitored by medical professionals, HRT and TRT have strong safety profiles for appropriate candidates. A thorough health evaluation helps identify any factors that might affect your suitability for treatment.
How often will I have appointments?
Initial appointments occur closer together while establishing your treatment plan and dosing. Once stable, most patients transition to quarterly or biannual visits for monitoring.
How long until I notice changes from HRT or TRT?
Many patients report improvements in mood, energy, and sleep within two to four weeks. Full benefits typically develop over two to three months as the body adjusts to restored hormone levels.
What's the difference between perimenopause and menopause?
Perimenopause refers to the transitional years before menstruation stops, when hormone levels fluctuate significantly. Menopause is confirmed after 12 months without a menstrual period. Symptoms can occur during either phase and often respond well to treatment.
How many EMSELLA sessions do I need?
A typical course is 6 sessions, scheduled twice per week over three weeks. Your provider will recommend a plan based on your specific concerns and how your body responds.
Is EMSELLA treatment painful?
No. Patients remain fully clothed and seated during treatment. Most describe the sensation as a series of firm contractions, similar to doing Kegels.
How often do I need EMFEMME 360 Treatment?
A typical treatment lasts only 8-12 minutes per session. We generally recommend ~3 treatments and schedule them 4-14 days apart from one another to see optimal results.
*Contraindications: Not all patients are candidates for every sexual health or hormone service. You may not be a candidate, or may need a modified approach, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have any of the following: electronic or metal implants, including pacemakers, defibrillators, cochlear implants, or drug pumps, a copper IUD, certain hormone-sensitive cancers or a history of hormone-related conditions, active blood clots or a history of certain cardiovascular conditions, or bleeding disorders. Our clinical team will review your full medical history during the initial consultation to determine whether treatment is safe and appropriate for you.
